Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience
Proficient in Revit
Passive House and/or LEED® certifications are an asset
Special consideration for those with work experience in British Columbia
Registered with AIBC or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia
Must reside in Vancouver, BC or willing to relocate
Must have working status in Canada
Have exceptional design skills and a strong critical perspective
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)

Excellent technical knowledge including

Strong working knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code and local zoning by-laws
Strong technical knowledge in building detailing
Ability to effectively coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities
Experience managing project schedules and budgets
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Design Suites, & Sketchup

Compensation

Starting at $75,000 annual salary (depending on experience)

Intermediate / Emerging Senior Architect

Responsibilities

Leading projects and exploring design concepts working in collaboration with the Principle Architect and other members of the team
Handling all phases of design with a major emphasis on project management, construction drawings, and contract administration
Maintaining effective liaison with clients and consultants

Qualifications

6 to 8+ years of experience in a variety of project types with emphasis on single-family residential projects and interiors with minimum 3 years of Canadian experience. Special consideration for those with work experience in British Columbia.
Registered with AIBC or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia

Must have working status in Canada

Intermediate / Emerging Senior Interior Designer

Responsibilities

Leading projects and exploring design concepts working in collaboration with the Interior Design Director and other members of the team
Handling all phases of design with a major emphasis on project management, construction drawings, and contract administration
Maintaining effective liaison with clients and consultants

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
Minimum of 6 years of post-graduate multi family, residential, commercial retail, and hospitality experience
Minimum 2 years experience in British Columbia
Strong conceptual design and presentation experience
Ability to lead projects – working directly with clients, consultants and managing team members
Experience creating working drawings and construction documents
Ability to coordinate electrical, mechanical, structural and other consultants
Ability to successfully manage priorities and conflicting deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
Advanced level in AutoCad, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Previous working experience in an architecture studio will be considered an asset 

Compensation

$65,000 – $70,000 annual salary (depending on experience)

Senior Architectural Technologist

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience
Proficient in Revit
Passive House and/or LEED® certifications are an asset
Architectural Technologist Diploma is an asset
Must reside in Vancouver, BC or willing to relocate
Must have working status in Canada
Special consideration for those with work experience in British Columbia


Excellent technical knowledge including

British Columbia Building Code
Strong technical skills with the ability to translate design intent into construction detailing with high attention to detail
Experience with all phases of design with a major emphasis on working drawings and contract administration
Experience with High-Rise/Mixed Use Residential and Commercial
Excellent communicator both oral and written English
Ability to handle multiple project responsibilities simultaneously
Preparing design drawings for Development Permit documents
Producing working drawings and construction detailing for tender and construction
Conducting field reviews and reports during construction
Experience with consultant coordination and liaising with clients and authorities
Strong working knowledge of Part 3 & 9 of the BC Building Code
Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register in the province of British Columbia
